A very good friend of mine and native Detroiter, Alexis H. Derriso just published her very first book titled "Can You Relate? 100 Reasons Why I Cannot Win"

(I’m such a proud mama) After Alexis overcome her attraction to gambling, as well as watching others who let their attraction turn into an addiction, and even seeing too many people let their love for gambling destroy their lives, Alexis H. Derriso decided to do something about it. In her book entitled "Can You Relate? 100 Reasons Why I Cannot Win,"
a humorous look to encourage people to gamble responsibly and to maintain a sense of humor even when luck doesn’t seem to be on their side. The book contains a collection of experiences, conversations, and events. Since Alexis H. Derriso has been on both sides of the coin she designed her book to be both entertaining and to serve as a tool to prevent some people from becoming addicted to gambling as well as help others to recognize that they have a gambling problem and that they should seek professional help.
